Background

Semrush, a marketing platform best known for its SEO capabilities, was preparing to host the second edition of its Spotlight conference

Alongside promotional campaigns for Spotlight 2025, Semrush needed evergreen blog content to attract ongoing organic traffic while subtly building awareness and credibility for the event.

Challenge

The goal was to create articles that could stand alone as valuable educational content (not event ads) yet still connect readers to Spotlight through relevant topics, internal links, and thought-leadership positioning.
